Bye Bye Nike and Levi’s - hello New Balance and Wrangler
Another short post, just so you don’t forget me.
We’re all aware, assuming we’re conscious, of Nike’s embrace of Colin Kaepernick as their new face. Despite their market capitalization dropping as a clear signal of this, write them – deluge them with snail-mail letters – so they understand why this is happening:
Mr. Mark Parker

Write to him; be polite, but express your disapproval of selecting, as a face of their brand, a man whom you despise as someone who disrespects America and the flag. Clearly state that you will take your business elsewhere, and will encourage others to do likewise.
In a similar vein, write to Levi’s about their new-found love of gun control as was pointed out in the piece posted on NinetyMiles, Levi Strauss Announces Massive Gun Control Campaign, Turns Employees into Political Activists. Express that while you share grief at the shootings that have happened, working to limit law-abiding citizen’s access to guns – and make sure you emphasize that this is a Constitutional right that “shall not be infringed” – is not the way to prevent such events from happening again. Thus, you will take your business elsewhere.
Mr. Chip Bergh

In parallel, cued by commenter noncom on the NinetyMiles post, write to Wrangler (assuming they, also, have not been bitten) and tell them you are transferring your purchases TO THEM and AWAY FROM Levi’s – and why. Let them know why their sales are increasing.
Mr. Mike Manley

And I’m learning New Balance is a good one for shoes. Switch to them, and let them know why (i.e., you're switching because of Nike's embrace of BLM and the "kneelers"):
