Attention American Jews: Sit at the table or be on the menu (CARTOON)

Inspired by a piece at Frontpage Magazine, Dear Jewish-American Leftists: It’s Time For a Talk, which concluded thusly:

Just remember this; When you’re no longer at the dinner table, you’re on the menu. And you’re certainly no longer at the dinner table with the Democratic Party, Islam is.
So I commissioned the above cartoon.  Please feel free to use it provided:

You, my fellow American Jews, are the Left’s used Kleenex; they’ve taken you for granted, taken your votes and countless dollars, given lip service to Jewish interests and Israel, and now that they have a growing Islamic constituency that will dwarf ours they’ve made a cynical calculation to curry favor with their new demographic while casting us aside; Democrat Islamophilia: It’s All About the Votes, Baby.
Look at a recent lawsuit filed over what’s being taught about Jews and Israel in Massachusetts – the “Peoples’ Republic of Massachusetts”, so not a “red” state (bolding added):

Some of the evidence described in the complaint goes to support their complaint that students were being taught Jews and Christians deliberately forged their holy texts to contradict the Muslim Qur’an. Another textbook instructed that Zionism has "little connection" to Jewish history in "Palestine." Students were also taught Jews took advantage of the Holocaust to gain sympathy for Zionism at the expense of "Arab plight," and Israelis were compared to Nazis amid claims they've treated Palestinians like Nazis historically treated Jews.
"Newton history teachers and school administrators must think either that anti-discrimination laws do not apply to them, or that these laws do not protect their Jewish and Israeli students," APT President Charles Jacobs said.
"There is no academic freedom to brainwash students with fake history and pro-Arab or anti-Semitic propaganda that is, these days, alarmingly too common on the left in America," Jacobs continued.
Karen Hurvitz, who is representing the taxpayers in the lawsuit, said her clients are not seeking money damages, despite the pain they feel as a result of students being taught materials that slander Israel and Jews.
"This is the type of teaching that leads to anti-Semitism — and it has," Hurvitz said. "The taxpayers here are merely asking NPS to perform their duties and obey the law, which requires that their curriculum encourage respect for all people. Education should be based on fact, not on stereotypes and propaganda."
One of the common tropes about President Trump is that he praised white-power people in Charlottesville.  Untrue (bolding and italics in original):

You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. … You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, — to them — a very, very important statute and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name. George Washington was a slave owner. Was George Washington a slave owner? So will George Washington now lose his status? Are we going to take down statutes to George Washington? How about Thomas Jefferson? What do you think about Thomas Jefferson? Do you like him? Are we going to take down his statute? Because he was a major slave-owner. Now are we going to take down his statute? You’re changing history. You’re changing culture, and you had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally — but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.
On another occasion Trump condemned the KKK:

As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America, and as I have said many times before, no matter the color of skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God. We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry, and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans. Racism is evil, and those that cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equal.
In the early 20th century the Left, i.e., "Progressives" then, now Democrats, were admirers of the Nazis, and often exchanged letters and ideas:

So what does it take for you to understand anti-Semitism is now firmly at home on the Left?  Not even knowing what anti-Semitism is?  Anti-Semitic jokes at a Democrat meeting?  OK then; Dem Lawmakers Admit During Private Meeting They Don’t Know What Anti-Semitism Looks Like (bolding added):

During the meeting, some Democratic members "admitted they didn’t know what anti-Semitism looks like," according to the Post.
To help manage the conversation, which was previously unreported, Levin invited Bend the Arc, a left-wing organization deeply critical of Israel and Republicans. In a recent tweet, the group called for Americans to "reject the Islamophobic policies our government is built on."
When a Bend the Arc organizer in the room made a joke "about Jews and money," Rep. Jahana Hayes (D., Conn.) questioned why the facilitator could talk like that when someone like Hayes could not. She later told the Post no one should be making comments of the sort.
Rep. Dean Phillips (D., Minn.), a Jew who represents a district neighboring Omar's, told the room he considered her comments to be "tips of the arrow" of Jew hatred in America. According to "several participants" who spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity, Phillips asked Omar to apologize and "publicly affirm Israel’s right to exist and protect itself."
Phillips's request that Omar support the right of Jews to exist in the Jewish state and in the United States "stunned the three Muslim Democrats in the room."
Imagine the outrage, the understandable and justifiable outrage, if a GOP meeting had people cracking jokes about blacks.  Or Hispanics.  Or gays.  Yet anti-Semitic jokes barely get an objection.

Or perhaps you need a sign to see what the ascending powers on the Left thinks:

The Left has been allied with the Islamists for quite some time.  It's only now that the mask is slipping.

Not for nothing does my wife's homeland have a proverb: "Tell me who your friends are, I know who you are".  And my own addition: "And those whom you respect and honor also defines who you are."

Let's join with others who are leaving the Left.

Do check out the #walkaway campaign.  Watch some of their videos.  See that real people are leaving the Left.  Become one of them.  What do you need, a pillar of fire?

  1. That last comment was not aimed at you. I've had people on my sidebar for almost ten years. I know them personally, and had lunch with them and everything. I think they are embarrassed to let people know they visit Woodsterman ... LOL.

  2. OK... regardless, I did check and was surprised that you weren't there. My oversight, fixed.
